Hildering Packaging

Tin can packaging can be printed perfectly. You can choose for digital printing (see: Hildering Colour Can) or for offset printing. With offset printing the minimal order has to be 500 sheets per decor. The number of cans that can be printed from one sheet, depends on the capacity of your can. For example: from a can of 1 litre, 18 cans can be printed out of one sheet. So 500 sheets means 9.000 tin can packaging. (see table). From the total order smaller quantities can be called. In consultation we can keep a part of the order in stock, and we guarantee a delivery within some days (from your advance order). The complete order has to be called down within 12 months.

From the start of the design made by you or your publicity agency, our studio will make a translation for the design to be printed on the cans. Usually we are able to send you a proof for approval within 2 weeks. You will receive a print on a strip of tin, on paper, or a digital proof as pdf.

After receiving your approval, we determine the delivery time of your printed tin can packaging. Depending on the production cycle of the measure of your packaging, the delivery time varies from 2 till 6 weeks. The more standard your packaging (see table European measures) the quicker the delivery time.

With offset printing it is possible to obtain sophisticated effects. 3D, grass in combination with high polish and rubbertouch are excellent examples. These kind of techniques are used to stand out on shelves. You can determined the full use of offset printing techniques together with your publicity agency.
